Television used to be a huge thing until recent years, it was the main source of media that most people choose to consume and it had a great impact on the house has a whole, bringing families together or making them fight about what would they watch next, that would happen with the main T.V. on the living room wich in most cases was the only one on the house. T.V. used to be fundamental has a source of entertaiment for the kids, when they came home after school, it was there when some channels (national channels) would air some cartoons or anime for them to watch. That was how I knew about One Piece, an anime production that has undoubtedly affected my life for the better and that I've watched since I was like 4 or 5 years old until now, since this anime is still on air. This particular series caught my attention because it was about a romantic adventure with friends traveling across the world, working together to accomplish their individual goals and the dream of their Captain, cause their're pirates after all. This is the main reason because i like anime in general so much, it has beautifull and fantastic stories but also very well written and relatable characters, charismatic, dreadful, funny, etc. It's a type of media with a great amount of genres and titles for everyone to enjoy, people just need to put their preconceptions away and give it a chance.
